Its breakfast was warm, we really enjoyed the location too.
That was comfortable hotel set in pretty quiet area, close enough to down to the top road into the town. The staff seemed smart. Good sized and spotless room with comfortable bed, spent our time lovely. A mini-bar, a multi-channel TV and a writing desk were available here. The venue had an amazing location close to Porto Malcesine. The services were friendly.

Great lake view from the room and amazing pool area with stunning views of the lake. Fantastic location with easy access to the town and lake.
Limited breakfast options and some of the staff was not very attentive. The rooms lacked amenities and could have been cleaner.

We loved the hotel's location right by the lake and its accessibility to the town via a flat parade and a lift up-and-down to the top road. The breakfast had a good selection, and the staff were nice and friendly. Also, the fenced parking area was convenient.
Can't fault anything about this hotel.

Stunning scenery, close to attractions, comfortable rooms. the location of the hotel was breathtaking, with beautiful scenery surrounding it. the hotel was conveniently located close to many attractions and we were able to explore the area easily. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, providing a nice space to relax after a long day. the staff were friendly and helpful.
Poor food quality, slow service, noise disruptions. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing and not up to par.

our stay in malcesine was incredible. this time at the hotel excelsior bay was even better than before. the staff were exceptional - professional, polite, and kind. the food at the restaurant was lovely and the lake-facing room had beautiful views.
One thing was off - the hairdryer in the bathroom was useless.

I had the most incredible stay at Excelsior Bay in Malcesine. The location was absolutely breathtaking, right on the shores of the lake with stunning sunset views. The upgrade to a lake view room was a wonderful surprise, and sitting on the balcony each evening was pure bliss. The hotel staff, especially Marcello in the restaurant bar, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The small bay beach just a minute away was perfect for a swim and enjoying a cocktail from the hotel. It was also a quick and easy stroll into the charming town. The hotel even had a pool, although I preferred the lake. I had an amazing experience and will definitely be returning.
While my stay was fantastic, there were a few minor drawbacks. The pillows in the room were quite hard and the mattress was not very comfortable, which affected my sleep.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
